VILLA DEL PALMAR AT THE ISLANDS OF LORETO BY DANZANTE BAY TO UNVEIL RESORT ENHANCEMENTS AND A NEW HOTEL WING IN JANUARY 2022

Developers Plan to Unveil Phase Two of Resort Community in January 2022 as an Increased Demand for Vacations in Loreto Hits an All Time High.

LORETO, Mexico, Dec. 23, 2021 – Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto by Danzante Bay just announced that Phase Two of the resort’s expansion will be unveiled on January 1, 2022. The Baja California Sur resort, which is located on the shores of the Loreto Bay National Marine Park in the Sea of Cortez, is home not only to an award-winning all inclusive, but also the Sabila Spa with 9,000 square feet of pampering luxury, four restaurants serving fresh cuisine and local favorites, five refreshing pools, and the only TPC golf course in Mexico, TPC Danzante Bay. Designed by legendary golf architect Rees Jones, the 18-hole course has some of the most striking views in all of golf. Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto also has an updated collection of 338 suites and penthouses with options for up to ten people.

"We are thrilled to unveil the next phase of Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto to our loyal members, guests as well as a new generation of visitors," said Owen Perry and Luz Maria Torres, Developers, Danzante Bay. "Nestled on the turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez and beloved as a hidden jewel on the Baja Peninsula, Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto is the perfect destination to create meaningful new memories surrounded by spectacular natural beauty."

Phase Two consists of a $42 million investment into the resort and surrounding area, which was needed as a result of the success and interest in TPC Danzante Bay and the increase in demand for reservations at the resort. Phase Two includes a new wing that adds 160 well-appointed suites to the property, some of which are stunning penthouses and oceanfront accommodations. Designed by Marisol Tafich Santos, the Guadalajara-based interior designer, the new suites feature a variety of earthy tones, light rugs, and handmade lamps, all of which echo the crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches of Loreto. Every accommodation includes a kitchen and each provides the perfect setting for families, honeymooners, and groups to vacation in style. In addition to the new wing, a panoramic boulevard with underground fiber optic networks and bike lanes for enjoyment has also been added to the property.

The restaurants and dining venues at Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto, who continuously offer exceptional service, will also be expanded to accommodate members and guests comfortably at the exclusive beachfront property. Now, the golf clubhouse will be offering dinner and the resort's beach restaurant will be featuring a toes-in-the-sand dining experience under the stars. Casa Mia, the resort's outdoor Italian eatery, is also set to double in size next year.

Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto uniquely blends with the beauty of the region. It is a place where visitors can embrace the scenic vistas of Loreto, the small town feel of a Pueblo Magico, the traditional Mexican culture, and the rich history that blankets the region. At the same time, members and guests can revel in the activities available on the pristine beaches and natural habitats that exist within the Loreto Bay National Marine Park. Those looking to enjoy it all can book the Unlimited Golf or Spa package, which includes a three-night stay in a Deluxe Suite, unlimited rounds of golf at TPC Danzante Bay, access to the resort’s spa and hydrotherapy circuit, onsite activities, and more. Owners and guests can also revel in tours and activities that include scuba diving, cultural tours of the city and beyond, Tabor Canyon tours, whale watching, paddle boarding, kayaking, desert tours on ATVs, sport fishing excursions, and surfing.

For those looking to make Loreto their home, residences are available for sale in two distinct neighborhoods within the Danzante Bay property. These accommodations beautifully blend authentic Mexican lifestyle with modern comforts and connectivity. Four pre-designed home plans, ranging from three- to six- bedrooms and 2,900 to 6,000+ square feet, are available for buyers to choose from. These homes were designed by Kevin B. Howard Architects, with land planning designed by Hart Howerton. Ownership comes with membership to a private beach club, access to the resort's fitness facilities, and special rates at the spa and restaurants. Pricing ranges from $1.5 million to $2.5 million for built projects and lots are available for $375,000 and up.

Loreto is considered a "Pueblo Magico,” or Magic Town by the Mexican government. This designation, which has been given to 132 towns across the nation, is due in part to the characteristics that make it feel magical for all those who visit the destination and it's the only Pueblo Magico in Mexico with an international airport. Those seeking an incredible vacation can obtain direct flights from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Tijuana, Phoenix, Dallas, and Calgary.
